Our Story
I’ve always loved applying my makeup with beauty sponges. To me, they were simply the easiest and most comfortable way to achieve a beautiful finish.
Over time, I realized I needed to use several beauty sponges to apply my makeup: one for BB cream, one for foundation, one for concealer, one for contour, and one for blush.
Before I knew it, my vanity was filled with beauty sponges.
I had two choices: use several clean sponges every time I applied my makeup or use the same sponge and end up mixing all my makeup products together.
Neither option made sense.
Then one day, I asked myself a simple question:
Why can’t one sponge do it all?
That simple question marked the beginning of VertCharme.
I started sketching ideas, searching for a design that would give each product its own dedicated surface while remaining comfortable to hold, easy to use, and truly practical.
After countless sketches, prototypes, and refinements, I found the answer: a five-petal flower.
That’s how the VertCharme Five-Petal Makeup Sponge was born—a unique design that later received a U.S. Design Patent.
Each of its five petals was created to provide a dedicated surface for BB cream, foundation, concealer, contour, and blush, helping keep makeup products separate and making the application process cleaner, more organized, and more efficient.
Today, that simple question has become VertCharme: a single tool designed to keep each product in its own space for a cleaner, more organized makeup application—without mixing products together—for a more practical and enjoyable beauty routine.
